About

Welcome

I don’t just make food. I build healthy lifestyles. Allaur Nutrition was created on the belief that food should be healthy and still taste good, and I carry that belief into everything I do.

Chef Almando Cruz

I am the Owner and Chef of Allaur Nutrition. I attended Johnson & Wales University shortly after serving in the Marine Corps and achieved a BS in Culinary Nutrition with a focus on Clinical Dietetics as well as Food Science.

For me, a healthy lifestyle is more than lifting weights or running each day. Eating well and enjoying a healthy relationship with food is something that should be balanced and enjoyable. I have been across the country managing diets of people with restrictions, from a weight loss resort in South Carolina, to managing a gluten free kitchen in Colorado. In all my travels I have found that most clients limit themselves as to what their diet can and cannot have.

Many clients come to me because they have been eating the same things every day, or are spending a lot of money ordering out and their health and wallets are suffering. Allaur Nutrition was born to fill the gap between what a diet is thought of to be and what it can be.

Personal Chef Service

As a Chef and Nutritionist, I have the skills necessary in customizing meals to match whatever needs you may have. Including but not limited to vegetarians, Celiac Disease, weight loss, diabetes, or just general health. My specialty is creating healthy and delicious food while providing a convenient and time saving service for you.

I will create a menu based on foods that my client chooses, then shop, prepare, label, and clean the kitchen. All within 5 hours or less. During our initial consultation, we will go over the nutritional needs of you and/or your family, creating a personalized plan that coincides with your lifestyle.
